We have two crows which nest in our school grounds, been there for a number of years. Every year they have young and this year they have three. This year all the young have white flights and tail feathers, they are in fact pied. Why? Do you think it is something to do with the left over sarnies from the dinning room, at 4 30 every night I put out all the best ones cheese, ham etc for them and do they know the time. Any answers please. I may not be able to reply as I can only use the box once for some reason. Thanks in anticipation. Elaine. |

No idea, but you could look up the RSPB site and ask them the same question, you'll probably have to register. |

Hi Elaine, we have a blackbird who has a white dash across his back, it looks odd but its a way to recognise him. He comes here every year. Very odd about your crows, why not ask the local newspaper in a letter to their letter page, others would write with their opinions etc and a reporter might even come and photograph them. |
