New Hubble Camera WFC3 Images

Back in May this year NASA serviced the Hubble telescope. Amongst the new instruments installed. The WFC2 camera which has given stunning pictures over the last 15yrs, was replaced with a new camera WFC3. This new camera is more sensitive, has higher resolution & operates in a wider field of spectrum (UV to NIR) than its predecessor.

The 1st spectacular images from this camera have now been release. These can be view at;

When viewing the images, hover your curser over the image & press Shift & R will improve the image resolution.
