Hello Jean, I confess I don't know what the energy saving bulbs were that I have just removed ( it's a rented house and they were in situ) .... but the difference! I have just been sewing and realised how dim it was before :) |

Sounds as though you should have tried the 125 watt equvalent.Or the 150. I like a bright light and I found these good enough. |

I do try with the energy saving ones, but find them very depressing in the front room, especially now we are heading for winter....so was chuffed to find some 100 watt 'ordinary ' bulbs still for sale today |
