I couldn't get clotted cream in my local shop so I had to resort to tinned cream............it works nicely thank you : ))

I'll leave a plate here with a dozen delicious cream / jam scones.......I wonder how long it takes before there is nothing left but a solitary crumb and a doily................lol

Merlin Report 13 Sep 2009 15:31

Would that be "Display Doilys" **M**.:o)>

Strictly speaking Merlin , all doily's are " display " ones............mine however , are rather crumpled as they have been lurking in the bottom of the tea towel draw for more years than I care to recall ( I knew they would come in handy one day.................lol ).

They sound yummy.

I always seemed to have doileys lurking in the tea towel drawer too.
They're also useful as a stencil when dusting icing sugar on a cake. !
