I have posted earlier, about my neice's giving birth, to baby Faith.

Just found out that Faith has the middle name Lily.

Curious, as to popular names, and to whether middle names are common.

I know of three Faiths all at different ages too.......it's a pretty name.....rare enough to be individual but not one of the new breed of *way out there* names some are choosing.

As for middle names........mine have one each but I wish I'd given them more now I know some of my family names from years gone by.

Milly seems to be a popular newborn girls name round my way.......and I've heard of two newborn boys called Riley in the past few weeks xx

I've known of four babies born since c. July 2008 and so far there has been a Rosie, two Charlies and a William. As far as I know, two of them have got middle names - May and Roy, I think.

Muffy got about three Rileys out of new mums at school.

Friend just had daughter called Faith.


Will be intersting when I do the PTA events again to see what new names are around. Think Tiddler is the only one in school with her name but one of her class mates mum has same name so funny when they say hello to each other

Mine have all got a middle name wish i had given them more though
