ps... Fire Brigade and RSPCA have to wait 72 hours before they can do anything... happened to me here a couple of years ago... had a thread up about it!! Bleddy creature legged it just as Fire Brigade arrived... and then Jethro stowed away on the fire tender, and they had to bring him back, lol!! xxxxx

How upsetting for you all - and the poor cat. When our cats have been up trees, they seem to come down in the end, unharmed but a bit frightened.
Would a local tree surgeon help by doing his good deed for the day?

My sister's neighbour has a cat stuck up a very large fir tree, he's approx 40ft up, been there since yesterday afternoon atleast. My b i l saw it and told the neighbour.
The RSPCA say to put a bowl of fish food at the bottom its bound to come down for it. The fire brigade have been to check it out and say they can't do anything until tomorrow when they HOPE to have the right ladder!!
My sister has knocked on nearly everyone's door to find out who it belongs to, two couple's who have a cat are out so she's going to knock again in minute.
The way the tree's have grown has caused it to be a bigger prob because in certain places there are bigger drops or something, thats why they need a special ladder.
The cat keeps on crying and its upsetting to hear:o((

Whilst she was on the phone to RSPCA one of her cats bolted in the cat flap with a bird in her mouth, now this cat has NO TEETH, so it kept slidding out the side of her mouth all covered in spit...LOL.... sister finally managed to grab it and let it go......then whilst she was washing up a LEG appeared, quite a large spider leg!!! lol, her OH had to get it out, he washed it off first and then layed it on some kitchen roll to dry off....LOL LOL, how cute!!! It ran off into the shrubs:o))

Her son dropped off 6 washing machine loads of washing, she got 4 loads dry and is now ironing it all, bless her.....she's had an interesting day:o)
