The cook was always lovely , a sweet little old dear with ruddy cheeks and white hair...............the dinner ladies prowled like hunters round the dinner hall , looking for victims...............lol

This is a bit of a dilema for me.

Elton is another well off individual, who is wanting to adopt a child from abroad.

It has been said that he should look here for a child to adopt!

If that were the case, I feel that any such British child, would have to be living in really dire circumstances!

The boy that Elton is speaking about, if I am correct, was born/living with HIV. And born into a country, who would shun such a child!

If Elton is allowed to adopt this wee fellow, who has softened his heart, this child is a very fortunate wee soul.

Without Elton,( or any other european with the means to do so.) this wee boy will become another statistic, who has perished, without the aid that he needs.

I did a dinner lady stunt a few years back as a reserve, the uniforms aint much better than they were but they wasnt the gingham type stuff

I grew up listening (amongst lots of other things) to my sister's Elton John records and love a lot of his stuff. However I never really forgave him for the truly dreadful 'Candle in the Wind' tribute to Princess Diana, and he has got very petulant and peevish in later years!

I may find Elton annoying these days but you can guarantee that the orphanage he was visiting will be on the receiving end of a very large sum of money whether he's allowed to adopt or not.
