Afternoon out visiting Stafford today :)

Have never been there before so it was nice to have a mooch around somewhere new, been here a year so thought it was about time we had a look at some of the places around and about .... watched the ducks and swans in Victoria Park and then walked along by the river Sow ; some nice old buildings there including the Ancient High House, the largest timber framed town house in England. Unfortunately not open on Mondays so will make a return visit soon and go to the castle also. |

I like Stafford the park is beautiful and the castle is great its Norman and motte and bailey type ~ my fav and we have friends there so always a good dat out ~ don't think much of their footie team though x |

Park was nice Mel, we laughed at the ducks( Mallards) ...one in particular, this female was much lighter than all the others and she seemed to feel she was quite 'special' ( as indeed she was lol) chasing off all the males who came too close and quacking away like mad :)) |
