Ive just found a relative of mine (Frank Ellis b1886 in Wicker, sheffield) on the 1911 census in Wakefield prison.

Can anyone advise me as to how to find out more information? The census tells me he was married but i would like to know why he was in prison and how long for etc.

I have posted on your other thread. It would be a good idea to remove thisone so that time and effort are not duplicated.
