Hi Janet

Thank you very much I have now been able to sort it out, it was the Ancestry site at fault.

Thank you very much.

I should try again tomorrow, perhaps it is a hiccup.

Alternatively here is their contact information from the home page:

Hi Everyone and thank you to you all who have applied to my thread re: Ancestry,

I am trying to join the level two membership on the Ancestry site and it keeps saying error and I cannot get any further.

Does anyone have any clues on this problem please?

Thank you.

Regards

Darkie

There are 3 levels of subs with Ancestry. Even the basic includes all census records/images 1841-1901. No credits required.

There are some parish registers; they've just put the London ones on, but for that you need the Premier membership which is the second level.

Hi Everyone

I am not a member of Ancestry but was thinking about joining them.

What I would like to know is if I become a member of Ancestry do I have to pay credits to look at the census?

Or is it included in the membership fee.

Do they have parish records recorded on their site too?

Your help is much appreciated.

Thank you.
