Well let us hope Prince Charles doesn't get married again! Although I don't remember the Pope dying in 1981. John-Paul I died in 1978. |

Fiona you're right, it was 1978, it was the year I got married. First Pope Paul died, Pope John Paul was elected and died within a month, then Pope John Paul II was elected. |
