I had spinal surgery on Monday so my hubby took a week off to be a housewife. He was tired yesterday so thinking he has done a good job he took the day off. |

Daff, at least he is showing an interest in your hobby, can't fault him for that. Maybe we should all keep our heads down while the medication leaves your system Lol!!!! |

Mine has spent the last three days putting up a pergola in the garden and is now ironing, a job he took over after one of my ops and wont give me back! But-- why is it he always comes to wash his hands in the sink, with running hot water, just as I am trying to strain veg? He doesnt seem to see the glare I give him! |

Jean (Monmouth), my OH would always wash his hands in the kitchen sink, even though we have a perfectly good hand basin in the bathroom. In the last few months before he went in to hospital he was always wanting to help. He would slice the carrots for me to cook. If I was baking he wanted to help so I had to let him stir things or cut the butter into the flour and sugar (must admit he got it nice and fine even if it did take an age). Now, I have to do all the things he used to do as he wont be coming home (alzheimers). I am going to pay somebody to mow the lawns though, and I am not going to bother about growing veges. Not worth it just for me. At least not when I want to spend time going through my accumulation of the years and getting rid of as much as I can. |
