I did accept both tips I was offered, one was £2 & one was £1, both from older citizens who were offended when In politely refused. |

Well I wouldn't think the van driver would say anything if you tipped him. |

I too work for Tesco's and under no circumstances are any staff allowed to accept tips. Tesco policy is that it is all part of the service. If we accept tips we can be disciplined. |

well since my stroke in April things were a bit stressed on the shopping front. OH was coming home with all the wrong things so started using tesco on line - no bother with one hand and puts me back in control. OH was so delighted with the service he wont let the poor driver go without giving him a couple of pounds. |

No would never tip the delivery driver unless it was for a pizza or chinese meal. |

I was a Tesco delivery driver, we were not allowed to accept tips. Having said that I was only offered a tip twice and it surprised me, each to their own. |

I don't tip anyone either. I earn 15p per hour above minimum wage and can not afford to tip. |

Sorry l donot tip anyone, they get a hourly rate like everyone else so why tip them, do you tip the checkout girl in the supermarket when she serves you. |

Sorry if this is a daft question but does anyone tip the driver when they get their grocery shopping delivered (i.e. Sainsbury's, Iceland etc). If so how much do people generally give? |
