i worked for many years for UAC a subsidiary of Unilever that traded in West Africa and Senegal .Ghana was always considered a good posting because it was so much cleaner and less corrupt than other West African countries.
Hope your niece enjoys her visit and the teaching experience

I wish her well, and am sure she will have a wonderful experience.
My nephew flew to Katmandu on thursday. He will be teaching English to Buddhist Monks(the young ones) for a couple off months, then he moves on to other countries.I can't remember all,but know he will be in Cambodia at Christmas working with Orphaned Elephants. He is only just 18 so my sister is full of angst at the moment. He will be fine .
Good luck to your niece .
