	I had this last week... what I do find encouraging is the sentence in some cases, Service dependants to take up local employment running a basic postal receipt and despatch facility. There are limited job opportunities for wives, husbands and older children of servicefolk in some of these places... I think it is a very positive move that there looks to be the possibility of openings for service families... in some areas, it was negotiated that a certain percentage of jobs would go to local people, the rest to serving forces... families didn't get a look in. Cyprus, springs to mind... and some places in Germany. Love Daff xxx Daff

	Daff, I have to admit it was in an inbox last week, and my husband has just said he had the reply then. I just don't look at that particular email address very often, I just use it for 'odd things'. Have a happy day. Elisabeth x
