I have come across Crapp recently and Trufitt, and my grandparents were Pantrys. As anyone got any unusual names too? |

One of my names is Clapshoe/Clapshew, odd enough but with the first name Aquila, a great name to search for. |

I once found on the b index a child with the first name of Enough. I can only presume that somebody didnt know how to spell Enoch. Other people have also found some children with that name, I gather. |

One theory re. the name CRAPPER, is that they were originally pickers of fruit and vegtables. Obviously the name Cropper changed with various spellings and pronounciations. Bet they're pretty cross about that! |
