Liz rang me an hour ago, (had some more calls since so slow putting it on), she is stuck in the airport. The plane they are waiting for hadn't even set off fom where it's coming from. Liz and K were supposed to fly out at about 5-10, now they have been told 8-00pm-ish.
Typical of poor Liz, nothing goes straighforward for her does it,lol.

Typical of Thomas Cook I would say Caz. I bet she is fed up. It means they will arrive so late.

That's what she is fed up by Ann, at least it gave us time for the chat we never got during the week.

Yeah, bet he is, once on the plane she can go to sleep and ignore him. She was fed up though, poor liz.

Thanks Vicky, I hope Liz got off by 8-ish and didn't have another hold up. They will be there by now so lets hope everything goes smoothly from now on.

I told her to go to Skeggy, but she wouldn't listen.

Hi all, well we did get there eventually, arrived at the apartments at 4am Tuesday instead of about 1am! An almost two hour drive from airport dropping others off too.

I will put up a belated diary of the holiday in the next few days, had a nice time, but a few hiccups, got badly bitten by mossies and a wasp - never been got at so many times before and my legs which were the main target despite vit b tablets, Avon spray and other insect repellant etc that didn't seem to deter the little biters, itched so much when I was in bed that I kept waking up!

Very fed up to be back in the old routine, cooking and all, and the weather is so dull here, overcast, and raining - 10 degrees when we got off the plane here on Monday afternoon :>((((

Did meet some nice people tho, several Greek folk we will stay in touch with, and some English ones too, a couple who live five miles away that we got on well with, and will be meeting again soon, and some to stay in touch with by email.

Thanks Caz for putting this up and thanks to all of you who supported me before I went away.
