Just come back to this thread.
I didn't like to say that the pain was worse than childbirth but it was.
I had pains on and off for a year. Sometimes there is severe pain afterwards. I wonder if it is the internal organs settling down again.

I was in terrible pain in my twenties, and the doctor said cut out too much fat, such as full fat milk ,cream, and butter, or you will have gall stones.

I did, and started having dried milk in my tea, and have never suffered since. So wonder if this did save me from having gall stones.

Susan, I can agree with you on that. The pain is worse than that of childbirth. I had mine out also, in Feb. this year, but am still suffering same pain every few weeks. I have had all the tests both up and down, and consultant wonders if he took wrong thing out. Another appointment with him in three weeks to see what he suggests next. Who knows???

Hi R.B.
Two stones the size of marbles. Had mine out two years ago. Gall Bladder out as well. The pain was undescribable.
There seems to be a lot of people suffering from gall stones. I can name 5 I know suffering this year.
Those that are suffering from this have my sympathy.

Did you know that 1 in 3 women suffer with the painful condition of gall stones and for men its 1 in 20.
