Hi Judy,

CT is Connecticut.

If nobody has phoned by the time I check back into GR this evening, I'll phone for you.
Think they're about 7 hrs behind? I'm in UK at the moment.

Philip - I did google (I didnt know Sharon was the name of the town lol - I thought it was a girls name) - the only email address shown is the one that was returned to me u/k

Thanks Karen. I feel bad about you ringing all the way from the UK, maybe someone closer will be able to ring.

Thank you both for your prompt replies.

No problem Judy, I have Callserve set up on my computer, so it would only cost me pennies.
However our American GR friends should be up and about soon, and hopefully one of them will look in and see your request...

That's good Karen - I am actually purchasing something for a friend, she asked me to do it for her. I just got stuck when it came to contacting the company to ask how much the postage would be on that particular item. Because it was an American company I suppose they wouldnt get much call for someone wishing to purchase an item from Australia.

Have phoned them....a few times this evening. It rang out so I got the Customer Services answer-fone which said leave a message and we'll phone you back (the voice was a northern English accent, strangely enough!).
I left my message and phone no. but I haven't had a phone call back yet.

Thanks so much Karen. It's strange that a big company like that is not answering.

If you dont get a response from them, I'll just have to let it go.

I really do appreciate your efforts on my behalf.

Thank you LWD, Tricia, for those kind words.

I've had so much help from kind GR people over the years, that if it weren't for them I'd not have half the tree I now have. I don't /can't offer look-ups, but I will help where I feel that I can and I look upon it as way of giving something back.
I like to think we can ALL help each other in one way or another.

A special thanks to Karen for persisting in her enquiries on my behalf. Thanks too for your comments Tricia - and also Philip.

I was really desperate being all the way here in Oz and trying to help a friend purchase something.

Keep smiling all
Judy
