As most of you know I lost my Stephen to SADS, that is classed as a Sudden Death, most of you also know my Morris died but was saved, diagnosed as a SADS sufferer and fitted with a defribulator, that is classed as a Failed Sudden Death. Today, after almost four years of fighting we went to a specialist heart doctor for tests, two of us proved probably, two of us proved unlikely. One of the unlikely ones collapsed tonight, a classic sign of SADS, he is now in hospital being monitored, my question is, when and how can we stop this Silent Killer?? We all have an appointment on the 5th October to have the decisive test, if we are postivie we get a defilulator or pace maker fitted, today the doctor promised me he would not let any more of my family die, an hour later my unlikely candiate son collapsed, where will that leave us?? |
