We have had a personalised number plate on our car for 14 years. Each year it has sailed through the MOT, but not this year, Why......because a few months ago they changed the spacing between letters requirement......A new set of number plates cost £60, not grumbling about that cost, but the DVLA sell these plates to you, then you are penalised. |

The spacing was set some time back and a lot of number plates were made illegal, this seems to be the way of enforcing it by the MOT. |
