We had a lovely family bbq, as it was my middle daughters birthday.
It was so warm, can hardly believe it is the end of September!
Long may it last!!

Hi Elizabeth, what bliss!

When OH and I were "going out" we often used to meet up early and go and have Sunday breakfast at the Serpentine caff. We would then move on to a Hampstead pub for lunch. The Old Bull and Bush or the Smugglers.

I thought this was the glitzy life!

We are still married a million years on.

Hello Polly...........yes it was a bit too busy for me...........lol

When our kids where little we always took a picnic with us on days out . With four of them going into cafes was out of the question .

We had a picnic on the allotment with the Grandchildren in the Spring time..........now if they come up with us they expect food ! .....you just can't win.................lol

Hello Polly......childhood picnics, no cares at all,

Hello Amanda.........ah an allotment. Grow your own.

Our local council had this idea for the residents to have a small allotment, next to the park.

Rows ever since! Who has got the biggest space?!!

I like picnics because lets face it, it costs a small fortune to go to some events/places.

Apart from the fare/petol, etc and the food, you can enjoy natures sights and sounds for free!!!

I need to make a note of the museums for the kids.

Best wishes to you both
xx

Hello Elizabeth.........your picnic sounds idyllic . I'm pleased you had such a lovely day .

My day consisted of walking the three dogs in the woods ( it was a bight and beautiful Autumn day here in Norfolk ) .
Then a bit of furniture moving , took a big old sideboard to daughters flat ( up three flights of stairs ) and bought an arm chair back to ours .

Then an hour or so on the allotment .

Now I think it's time to rest..............lol

Dear All

Hello

Went on a family size picnic to Londons Hyde Park.

Flowers looked and smelled lovely, kids ran around, the rest snoozed and I saw the memorial for the July 2005 terrorist attack in London.

The wildlife ran amok near the serpentine. I still love feeding the
birds and swans.

Doesn't food taste better outdoors?

Hope you all had a nice day too.

Best wishes
