Thanks Christine, we don`t actually have a Camcorder, but would be happy to purchase one, rather than CCTV, as would have more use in the long run, for filming the family etc......

Hi All,

Just wondering if any of you out there could offer advice on a good CCTV system that also records?..... been getting some vandalism to our car which is parked directly in front of our house, but need visual proof {on tape} for police to prosecute.

I have checked out the Argos website which seems to have a good array of systems, but reading the customer reveiws has made me think twice about purchasing any of them, as none of them seem very good.!!

Cameras start at around £40.00, but they are not the recording ones.....would it be worth just buying that and hope it acts as a deterrent,? or should we shell out hundreds of pounds and get an all singing all dancing system?

Any advice gratefully received as car has got 3 large vandalism scratches in the last 7 weeks since we purchased it....
