Apparently, in the UK, it has a street value of £240 million. You wouldn't sniff at that would you.

well 5.5 tons of coke will make a good fire,
I will say that I joke about drugs because I can, but joking does not stop me from being serious about anti drug.

My ex - partner took his life because of drugs , I'm no fan either .

I saw the thing on the news and thought jolly good.....but .....wouldn't you think that the navy , if they are constantly cruising our coast line , would catch a few more ? ......or is this just in the news to make us believe that we are being kept safe ?

Apparently the RN have had three hauls in the recent past, but this is the largest one to date,

I know what you mean Amanda - and you know that I also lost someone very close to me for the same reason.

I wish I had any answers, but I don't.

At least there's some of this rubbish off our streets, out of the reach of our most vulnerable, and one or two of those who make fortunes out of the misery of others locked up

So, I for one am grateful to the efforts of our Royal Navy

I'm grateful for small mercies

Sue x

I'm glad so much will not be consumed - but how much good will it do? Stopping it from getting to the streets is good, but might only serve to put up the price of what's available - and that causes crime by those who don't have enough money to buy it.

The good part is that somebody has lost a lot of money!
