Just on our way to the dump, cleared out half the shed and filled the back of my VW Golf, the other half will have to wait, maybe this afternoon but it looks like rain. OH not playing golf so it was a good opportunity to pin him down.

Ann,

When you have finished, please will you come and do a clearout for me? Our garage has so many shelves full of 'might come in handy' things, we could do with a good spring, or autumn, clean. We never seem to throw anything away.

I have done one trip to the tip this week, but only with garden rubbish - the leylandii had a haircut at the weekend, and my contribution was to do the tip run. The bags were very heavy!

Have a happy day.

I just love the feeling you get when you've dumped a load of rubbish at the tip......it is so liberating......lol

We have a heap accumulating in the garden , and old Lloyd loom box ( that was the children's toy box but it is beyond repair now , the carpet from the upstairs hallway , an old bed frame and several bags of garden rubbish that I just can't get into the compost bin as it is stuffed full .

Hopefully we will get shot of it all very soon .

Going to start on the other half of the shed now fortified by a glass of wine and BLT sandwich and little fries at the golf club on the way back from the tip.

Finished now, got two large bags of plant pots, we are hoping the garden centre is still recycling them, otherwise they will have to go to the tip as well.
You should have seen the cobwebs. No spiders though, the only livestock was not (alive). Poor little things, two little field mice babies had died in the bottom of a plastic bucket, they had obviously fallen in and not been able to get out.

Ann, why not advertise the plant pots on Gumtree, someone might be glad to come and get them from you.

Wish I could be good at clearing stuff out. Well done!

Took them to the garden centre where they recycle them Liz. Welcome back, glad you finally got there.

I hate to admit it but when I gave our shed a springclean a couple of months ago there was a rat's nest with a very dead rat in it.

I think it probably died over last winter (or maybe the winter before).
