US KIDS STOOD AN WATCHED AS HUNDREDS OF HOUSES CAME ALONG,,,THATS ALL HISTORY,,,PEEK AT HEATHROW FROM TENT TO MEGA STRUCTURE.
BUT I WAS A COUNTRY GIRL,NOW FORCED TOWNIE,,
I HAVE OPENED MY EYES,,
SEEN THE BEACH AND SILVERY SAND ,,,,I DID INVITE YOU
BUT YOU DIDNT WANT TO COME,,,,,
YES FOUR WALLS ARE CLOSING IN AGAIN,,,
BUT I AM OPENING MY EYES ,,SMELLING THE FLOWERS.

Hi Dizzi,
I was a lucky child and grew up in the country by the sea.It is just about the same there now.I love visiting towns and cities ,but I think as I get older I realise that I definitely prefer to live with some green fields around me .Where I live now they are planning to build 5,500 new houses.So in a few years time the view from my front windows will not be horses and cows ,but a concrete jungle.I think we have moved away from here by then(hopefully).England is a beautiful country and I have recently realised I want to see more of it rather than going abroad all the time for holidays.

I don't think anything will actually happen for maybe 5 years but it will be such a shame.By then OH will have retired so we will be off.
