Can anyone tell me why i am getting this error all of a sudden, when i try to update my personal profile !!
Plus I sometime's have to log in around 9 or ten times to get access to this site now.!!!

What do you mean by site names?

I have no problem logging in because I never log out! I even have the direct line into these boards in my 'favourites' and go straight to the boards. From here, I can go to Friends Reunited - and even though I have a different login and password to each site, I go straight there too, if I haven't logged out last time.

The error concerning updating your profile is because you have a few words in your name. You are now only allowed to have one word.

I had to remove the spaces in mine.

Can I sneak in here and ask how to not show my full name when offering to send me a message?

i.e; I often click on a member's name and it says "Send Joe a message", but when I click on others, it says "send Joe Blow a message".

I've tried deleting my current surname, but after I save it, it jumps back in again. It won't let me leave it blank.

Berona , try this,
instead of leaving the field current surname blank try entering summat totally different, you MUST put something.......

so it appears like Berona --------Bloggs

I have my Numbers as current surname......REAL surname.....AND community name

Bob, I tried a few ways and eventually found that I had to change my Birth name. I had been changing my current surname, and it kept changing back to what it had been before.

I am now Berona Berona - but what the heck, neither one is correct. I still don't understand why GR encourages us to have a 'board' name, then puts our full name in when someone is invited to send us a message.
