Are your emails getting through to your friends? If so, have you checked your settings?

They are getting through as I sent one to myself at work this morning and I noticed it said from Mr Morris Brown [[email protected]] I then looked at others I have sent and wondered why my friend had not replied and she said she deleted because she thought it was spam, I then sent one from my home email to work colleague and it also said sender Mr Morris Brown [[email protected]]

I would go into your account details and check what it says .sounds like someone has hacked in and changed something /
I know on my hotmail account I can look at the setup of it

Hi Carol
What email client are you using (Outlook, hotmail etc)? Knowing that would help me help you. In the account properties, there are fields for email address and reply address.... sounds like one or both of these have been altered. Check that they are set to your actual address.

Shirley~I,m getting the hang of it Report 5 Oct 2009 14:08

does Tiscali use Outlook Express for their email .If so open you email folder, go to tools ,click on account, the Mail info comes up ie POP3, select the properties box on the right and it will tell you the user information If this has been changed then you can change it back I would also recommend once you have done it that you change yor password , If you cant do it then get on to Tiscali

Carol - there is one thread on here and a couple on Chat, advising of hackers getting into Hotmail usernames and passwords. Check them out.
