For a start: Queen Victoria ascended the throne in 1837 and was Queen of England until her death in 1901. This is what we call the 'Victorian' period. |

The Regency period is a sort of subdivision of the Georgian era, running from about 1790 until 1820 (roughly - I think it depended on how well George III was regarding his mental health, as he did have good and bad periods in between). |
