I've always wanted one of those alarm clocks that mimic day-light, and play bird song.

I have always hated getting up summer or winter I just loveeeeeeeeee my bed and sleep.

Hubby gets up first and brings me a cuppa tea in bed, ex[erience has taught him i am no good without a cuppa tea, and this morning and yesterday was so cold downstairs he lit the fire so i wouldnt come down t the cold. What a little treasure i have.

And as I dont go out at night much i just close the blinds to the ark evenings and curl up in bed.

I'm with Daff....We haven't used an alarm clock in years.
In fact I can only remember setting one about 3 or 4 times ever and that was to be able to catch an early morning plane at silly o'clock.
I find it much better to wake naturally and can do so quite easily, even when we used to wake at 5 a.m.so that O.H. could travel to London to work.
I reckon it's the rude awakening from sleep, rather than the darker mornings, that go to make people grumpy.

*sighs, stretches and rolls over for another kip*

I stopped using an alarm years ago.... even when I had to be in work for 7am.... I find that I am much better waking naturally.... I still tend to wake at the time I would have when I was working..... but just turn over and kip for a little while longer.... bliss!! I usually wake hubby up for work.... he doesn't use a clock, either.

Love

Those dark Autumn / Winter mornings when your alarm clock catapults you from the land of nod.

When it feels like you've just gone to bed, and it looks like midnight.

It's unnatural & we need a campaign to stop the world looking like zombies. We want an end to the bleary eyed odd socks syndrome. the pajama shirt for a shirt mistake & the nodding off on the bog scenario.

We need help fast ...and now...
