I must have been dreaming because I didn't spot it. I did think the acting was good tonight though, it must have been very gruelling to do.

If the actress who plays Stacey doesn't get an award for this I'll want to know why. She has played the part brilliantly.

I didn't notice the cardingan swap though, too engrossed in the acting I think LOL

I know it is only a soap but I was on the edge of my seat for Stacey and trying to imagine how it would be affecting people in real life who are bipolar. The story line has been well managed I think, especially with the little girl she kept seeing, quite creepy.

AnninGlos

AnninGlos Report 9 Oct 2009 22:09

Yes I agree TW, I do hope she gets an award for it, well deserved.

Ann, I think Eastenders can be pretty pants at times, especially when they try to bring humour in, but I thought the scenes with Stacey and Jean were brilliantly written and don't think you'd find better acting in anything, screen or stage.

AnninGlos Report 9 Oct 2009 22:18

I agree uggers, every so often you get a cameo on the programme which proves what good actors are on there. Not all of them of course, many are mediocre but the odd one or two are really good. The girl who plays stacey has had some good story lines over the past couple of years and she just seems to get better. Jean I haven't thought much of until tonight but she too was excellent.

My OH has just pointed out that he thought Jean took her cardi off and wrapped it round Stacey when she was being sick in the toilet. :-))

Theresa, at least we are only 9 months behind in Corrie!
It is just about Christmas day and Jed Stone is blackmailing the Evil Tony. Liz and Lloyd are doing the Brazillian Crunch and Peter Barlow is going on the wagon.

Hi Pauline,
I remember 1976 well. I was newish to Canada and Vancouver.
We are hosting the Winter Olympic Games in February, come over and enjoy the fun.

I too have seen Corrie (or been exposed to it) for most of my life.

I noticed a few months ago that there was an upstairs flat in the Rover, complete with living room etc.. For donkeys years they have only shown bedrooms. Am I the only one to notice this?

Luckily we are only a couple of months behind in Australia.

Stacy has been back a couple of weeks after taking off for a bit. Heather is pregnant, Ronny has done a runner on her bike again and Roxy is after Jack AGAIN.

I agree, Stacy is doing an excellent job with her illness, so far.

Looking forward to the next couple of months.

Deb no I noticed as well, plus the toilets in the pub look like they go into Ken's house.

This will send Maria off to the deep end.
