Hi can anyone help please, I have found a document that may or not be to do with the person i'm looking at at present. To confirm it belongs to the right person i need to know where the Recruiting Office 80th Regimental District Nelson was. The person I'm currently trying to trace is a George William Blades born c1877, Kensington, London. |

Can you explain a bit more about the document please? What does it actually say and what's the date on it? Happy to have a look at it if you can scan and email to me. |

Now you've given the details I see you got the record on Ancestry. There are actually more pages. The man was actually living in Nelson, as was his father whose name was Geoffrey. Perhaps that will clarify whether he's your man or not. |
