needed please...........................

I have a small brass and copper stool,cut out of the brass seat it says

CARIAD then it has a double heart with a letter A in the center then CHARTREF

I'm sure MIL told me,but i've forgot....lol

Hippopotamus means river horse so that's fairly close.

So what is "horse" in Welsh? I must have the wrong word tucked away in my brain ...

It probably means something like *Home is where the Heart is* well, symbolises that, anyway.... probably, lol

To google the welsh language, you have to put in 'cymraeg'. Cymru means Wales.

the google translation isn't great though, OH used it the other day on an article, then I read through them both and made it make sense!!!! Its really hit and miss using the translation facility. I'm too late today, but anytime anyone wants welsh translation, feel free to PM me!
