is an old book I picked up at auction, no date inside but hand written on frontispeice ( in latin) is "In commemoration of the Coronation of George 6th 1937 " . Full of great black and white photos and drawings of every aspect of London life...'Interior of the Crystal Palace' , 'traffic jam at Marble Arch' lol where you can see the adverts on the back of buses (pepsodent and Bisto :))
fascinating book I really must take the time to read ... Did you know of 'Baynard's castle'? I didn't!
