	I had to phone a lost property and ask.....if they had found a set of false teeth 20 mins later when the women finally stopped laughing and the asked if I was for real...urrrmmmm Yes love this is for real and no there not mine...

	You see Rosi I got a call off my Mum on Sunday....... mum......have you got me false teeth.... Me......yeah I'm wearing them... Mum ( out raged shouts to my sister ) J* our Elsie is wearing me teeth... I heard a big clang in the background were J* had dropped the sunday roast in its tin and was rolling on the floor PHSL...

	and their new she has never worn them, anyway....................................... We have searched high and low and as a last resort I painfully wrang the hosiptal....and prayed the person who used the bed after mum hadnt found them attached to their ankle or some where.....

	It would be an extremely clever person who could recognise their very own lost false teeth from a " Lost false teeth depository " in a Hospital..............lol.............makes me SO glad that I've still got all me own real ones : ))

Member Since: May 2007 Posts: 25,620 Send Message	I remember when I was nursing on the Geriatric Ward in the 70's .We used to collect everyones dentures to give them a scrub.I am pretty sure half of them ended up in someone elses mouth lol.How bad was that.

	One of my sisters worked on this ward... and if someone died in the night, their false teeth would have been whipped by the morning, lolol!! Hayley.... I do so hope you find them...... my mum would be devastated to be without her false teeth!! Love Daff xxxx

	Oh, right you did say brand new.... that should make it easier for the staff to find, then, but I won't hold my breath.... they may not have the time to look very hard..... it is no laughing matter, really... my mother's last pair took 10 months to sort out and cost about £500, so they aren't cheap, either. 	Hayley, That sent me in hysterics ....what a funny story. I can only remember when we were kids ,on Christmas eve my mother being very holy went to put baby Jesus in the crib at midnight ....having had a few cherry's then Christmas morning got all us kids looking for her false teeth that she mislaid.......YES guess where she put them ...In the crib !! Dont know what happened to baby Jesus ....true story . Gosh I hope you find your mums teeth Hayley .
