Daff,
Thank your for your reply, my symptons seem to be similar to yours. I have had AF for over 2 years now. Did have cardioversion op. which flipped after 4 months,
Attend hospital reguarly and at long last my breathing is a lot easier, although any exertion leaves me gasping,
Your suggestion of hyperthyroidism interest me and I shall be contacting the surgery later.
With many thanks.
Margaret

Margaret, all I can suggest is that you rest when you are tired... have you seen the GP? Do you have another, underlying condition, such as hyperthyroidism? My AF is not the cause of my tiredness..... AF causes rapid heartbeat in me, and shortness of breath if I exert myself too much... the nasty, *lead and weights in my bones and muscles* tiredness comes from another condition.... or even two, lol... One has been identified, the other is under investigation.

My understanding is that unless your AF is constant, there is usually an underlying condition... go and see your GP or your consultant, as I feel you need to get it sorted.

Good luck, and gentle (((((((((hugs)))))))))

Love

Daff xxxx
