can any one tell me what the black and tans is or was. as there is some referance that my grand father was in it. how can you get information on it. many thanks |

The Black and Tans were made up of British soldiers from all over the country. My father, a full time regular soldier, told me they could never be forgiven for the cruelty they showed in Ireland. |
