On the 1891 census my great great Uncle has an occupation of a Brewers Clerk. |

If my Dad was alive he would know Darkie, as he was a Timekeeper in a Brewery which meant he kept a log of the mens hours, and was generally in charge of who came to see the bosses, like reps etc and signing the men in and out and other jobs. |
