It's because it's free on other sites such as Family Search, FMP and Ancestry. |

You are all correct, the 1881 census is free on the Mormom family search site. This is because the Mormons have undertaken to transcribe the Parish registers in this country which they have made a good job of with the International Geneological Index. (IGI). |
