Actually the music played was rather sublte,,not too loud or over the top and faded afterlessthan 2 mins

The Alan Titchmarsh show on the the other hand drivesme mad,,booming music and excessive applause..before and after each break, guest or topic..

It's called: "lets all play some crap music at the start , during and at the end of everything on TV".

Every programme, including countryside and nature documentaries are now pervaded by this overwhelming urge of those in control to foist whatever rubbishy music they like on to the rest of us, (always at high volume). All of it detracts from rather than enhances the subject matter.

Its no good complaining either, I have been writing to the BBC and ITV for over 5 years complaining about it and it just gets worse. I stopped writing and now use the little button marked "off". My wife and I now watch 95% videos. Live TV sux - big time.
