Apart from genealogy and chatting on here lol...
I ask because I had mentioned 'me time' on another site and someone suggested 'naturism' as the way to go...LOL...I haven't come up with a reply to that one yet, I very nearly said I was " too busy juggling too many balls in the air at the moment to take up anything new " then realised it didn't sound quite right ;).

Hi Rambling Rose, you could always sit in the buff whilst playing on your computer!!

In another life I make patchwork quilts, mainly for charity raffles.
Garden
Knit
Paint really badly
Read trashy horror stories.
Once in a blue moon dash round like a whirling Dirvish moving my dust around, and catching up on housework.

'ME' time for me is walking my dog Oscar, or reading, or watching a film.
I do not fancy naturism.

I was having too much "me time" which I spent pottering around, constantly doing something, but nothing special. I always did some kind of voluntary work, but slowed down with health problems...then, I started transcribing for FreeBMD and I feel so much better to be doing something useful. I can work at my own pace in my own time and I'm never bored.

Dear Rambling Rose

Hello

What actual me time?!

Never! I skateboard everywhere, doing two or three things at once.
I walk so fast, I can overtake buses!

Seriously, I collect newspaper headlines.
Have done this for nearly 25 years.
That makes me sound old!!

Best wishes to all

'Me' time is spent doing absolutely nothing - I listen to radio 4 when I'm not at work, and think about what I SHOULD be doing.
I wish I was like Samantha from 'Bewitched' and could wriggle my nose and get things done!!!!

Hello all...the trouble with 'me time' is that it so often gets interrupted :) so my 'me time' is usually when I am in bed and the rest of the world is asleep ..then it is a good book and no one to care if the light is on or not.... lol that sounds a bit sad :)

Don't know if it's strictly "me time" but . . . I make wheat bags (those things you put in the microwave to warm through) to sell at craft fairs, and they've evolved to have fleeced covers on them like a pillow slip.

Some are plain with a little bit of pattern round the edge and others have got embroidered pictures on, as my sewing machine has an embroidery unit with a hoop that you clip on.

My ideal treat would be going for a facial but at the moment I am promising myself a day in Preston records office! (Sad, I know, but it's a cheap day out and something I like doing, so it seems daft not to . . .)

Most of the time I make do with a hot bath with my Sanctuary bath foam in it.
