mine was a pink bridesmaid dress when i was 33
i tried my hardest to get out of been a bridesmaid for a friend
i tried the wouldnt you like a younger or thinner bridesmaid
this was greeted with no i want you
and the dress was awful sort of layer after layer of nylon
so i wore a pig mask(miss piggy lives) most of the day
everybody thought it was pre arranged
and said it was the funnist thing they has seen at a wedding
many years later when the groom died (rip mate )
and everytime i looked at his mum during the service
she laughed later she said all she could see in her mind was me wearing that silly dress and the pig mask

My fashion disasters are too numerous, and too dreadful, for me to admit to. Needless to say, they all occured during the 1980s.

My mum had a knitted swimming costume. I remember now she told me how it 'grew' in the water! No wonder she never learned to swim!

My biggest fashion disaster is my husband.

I have always been the epitome of style and good taste.

Although the leather hot pants may have been a bit of a mistake, in retrospect.

Has To Be Hotpants Platforms And My Maxi Coat
Oh Those Were The Days LOL

Wildgoose

Wildgoose Report 15 Oct 2009 10:09

I loved my maxi coat! It was a perishing cold winter and the coat wasn't lined so I was freezing! But what the heck, I was sixteen and fashion conscious.

Funny thing is my husband mentioned yesterday that he remembers that coat!

Well, I was just a baby when we met.
