what item would you want to save
i thought long and hard and it would have to be my
photos boxes and boxes of them

photo's also I think...but if not those, then it would definitely be the watercolour of a wood I bought some years back :) it is the kind of wood in which Hobbits or unicorns are about to appear :)

Since most of my photos are on the computer these days, I suppose I would take my CDs - the back-ups....Thanks, you've reminded me to do some backing-up!

It's all in a box just in case.....

contains.......cd's of all my photo albums (spent years scanning them all onto disc)........all my family tree certs and updated CD copies of my Family Tree Maker and the girls memory boxes...girls hand prints from when they were babies....and old diaries from when i was young and foolish LOL. xx

my sons big ted, he got it the day he was born and has nvr slept without it

also

my little cat teddie belonging to my aunt who has died she slept with it on the pillow next to her every night, and its sleeps in the middle of my pillows

If my cats were safe - nothing!
Letters my gran wrote to my grandad in 1924 have been transcribed, put on CD's and handed out to various members of the family.
It would be nice to save the originals, but I'm not sure where they are at the moment................
I hope my children & grandchildren would just like to see 'Grandma Meow' safe!!!

Photos

Then Laptop ( has digital photos on it )
Then Family history stuff ( can always buy certs again but never photos)

Then, if I could be bothered the next time, if there is one,......I may even wake the Oh up before the smoke gets to him.

I agree with Girlfromoz has to be my mums jewellry also the few photos of mum and dad that are left cos dad didnt like dwelling in past so after my mum passed away he got rid of all family photos, thank god my auntie was able to give me some
