TO EVERYONE I KNOW
BUT WHEN WE NEED THE CONFORT OF OUR FRIENDS WERE DO WE GO

AND I KNOW SOMETIMES ITS HARD TO TAKE ABACK SEAT
WHEN FRIENDS ARE CRYING OUT FOR HELP
WHAT IS FRIEND
AFRIEND IS THERE FOR YOU WITHOUT ANY QUESTIONS OR DOUBTS
AFRIEND IS THERE TO COMFORT YOU WHEN YOU THINK NOBODY CARES
BUT THAT COULD,NT BE FARTHER FROM THE TRUE AS WE NO WHAT GOOD FRIENDS WE HAVE
AND THERE WORTH MORE THAN THERE WEIGHT IN GOLD
AND I FOR ONE SHOULD KNOW
SO I DO MY BEST TO HELP EACH ONE AND SOMETIMES ITS CLOSE TO MY HEART
BUT I WOULD NEVER TURN MY BACK ON ANYONE FROM THE FINISH TO THE START
OVER THE LAST FEWS YEARS I,VE MADE AGREAT LOT OF FRIENDS
AND I COULD,NT WISH FOR BETTER COMPANY AND SO THE STORY ENDS
BUT JUST REMEMBER MY FRIENDS IT ONLY TAKE AFEW KINDS WORDS TO ASK HOW PEOPLE ARE
AND THAT MAKES ALOT OF DIFFERENT IN THE WAY WE ARE

Thanks Joyce this is so lovely. and so true. nobody needs to be lonely, if they are on here, there is always someone who will listen and help when possible....sometimes you can be so alone even in rhe middle of a family ... so here we are only a click away.....

Joyce, Jean and all the caring people on the boards, thank you for restoring my faith in friendship. I have made some wonderful friends in the years I have been here and thank heavens for the chance I had to get on line. I wish I could do more and call more folk but my time to myself is limited and sadly my o.h. is not as supportive to me or others as the men you have with you.

What's that old saying, One for all and all for one - sounds like our merry band lol

Circumstances dictate that I might not be around much this weekend, dark clouds over this household at the mo and am not looking forward to miseryguts coming home at 4.30pm!!

Hi folks, thanks Ann and Jean for pms, don't worry about me - that dark cloud wasn't quite as bad as expected and was dealt with in no uncertain terms by me !

Huia, I laughed to myself when I read your words ' may your dark cloud disappear quickly' lol He would only do that if I'd pushed him off a mountain on holiday lol
