My eldest is the best for 'the look', and the wiping of the finger along the mantlepiece.

But I don't care!

She came around today. I was in the middle of my occasional clean up.
When I opened the door, I was deafened by my grandson (22 months) screaming 'granny , granny'.
He went off to find a cat.
Grand daughter (7) looked at the medieval dolls house on the table and asked if she could help - no time today, but she can fill the wool basket and wood basket and place the barrels when she stays over.

I don't see my grandchildren as much as their other nana - I work 9 - 5, she runs a B&B and looks after them during the holidays etc, but I think they appreciate the fact they can do what they want (within reason) in my house!

I've noticed my grand daughter giving my daughter 'that' look LOL

Maybe appreciation skips a generation!!
