OH and I went out on our first date

Rubbish it was....(at the start).....he caught me watching the football half time (Venables was being interviewed) instead of listening to what he was saying....and the wine bar he took me to was really boring lol.

After a couple of vinos we moved onto the karaoke pub next door and had a riot of a time.

14 yrs on.......on this day (that I forgot about til this afternoon ......oops) I'm STILL waiting for the special meal he's cooking for me (He forgot to turn the oven on !!!!!)

*sighs*

Time flies doesn't it.............you must be in love to have forgiven not getting the long awaited special dinner : ))

I've been with my old man for almost 18 years.........and he does most of the cooking ............lol

It's a case of can cook but won't cook with me...........lol

He can't stop himself from lifting lids and making inquires about salt etc if I attempt anything.........ggrrrr.........so I quietly say " would you like to take over ? "...........smile sweetly and slope off................lol........works every time !

Congratulations :-))

When OH and I first went out it was to see a film in Leicester Square and then on to a club. He was whispering in my ear on the dance floor and getting no reaction whatsoever. He never told me about that until he found out I am practically deaf in that ear...lmao

Ta Flower.........OH just reminded me that I opened his car door onto a lamp post and dented it LOL. He'd chew my ear off for that nowadays but he laughed when I did it back then.

Sue was it a black and white film...let me guess gone with the wind....that was the 40's......and then off for a gitterbug....did you have your gas mask??


we just went for a quiet drink on our first date.....he kissed me at the train station and that was it I knew I was in love...and still feel the same...second date he asked me to marry him, he was very drunk and I misheard him he said infact...Hayley will you carry me...
