since we were just arriving at our apartment in Corfu.

All that money and effort and it is already in the past..... makes me feel quite sad.

But think how good you felt when you were there. I'm sure it was worth every penny

Okay Liz..... next year, you pay and I WILL GO ON HOLIDAY.
See if I feel sad after it.. ;-0)

Seriously though, I do understand what you mean. I have always been a bit... *what a waste of money* about holidays.
I always think what I could do with the money.
Not that I have had many! ;-0)

Ooh I never think my holidays are a waste of money, all those lovely memories of things I have seen, photos to look at etc. No, never a waste.

Totally agree with Ann - the memories are priceless. Even the things that go wrong, or are less than perfect (provided that they do not involve personal injury or illness) are all part of the overall 'fun'.

Fine Wendy thanks. T has got a poorly foot which is preventing him playing golf - Plantar facsiitis. He is not a happy bunny. You and M OK?

Don't get me wrong, I am glad I am well enough to travel and enjoy somewhere different and I didn't pay anyway, o.h. did lol well most of it anyway, but I just feel sad that it's all over so quickly. I think it is because the days are getting much shorter and it hasn't been very sunny since we have been back. We have some of the photos we took on the digital picture frame thingy so watch those at night while watching tv, so it keeps it all fresh. On Thursday I am meeting with the woman I met on holiday, who lives near here - her husband is bringing her to meet me and some more friends of mine, at the Spiritualist church where there are two mediums appearing, as she and I found a mutual interest in such things while travelling back from Paleo. The entrance fee is going to Cancer charities so a worthy cause and will be interesting as always.

Elaine, have a great time in Croatia.
