If you click on the senders name, you should be able to see any previous correspodance that you've had, & therefore the name of the person you might have in common

Is it just me that gets frustrated when someone replies and says they have shared their tree with you?

My point is that no one appears to think that I need a surname to go with the tree shared and I may have contacted up to a dozen people asking various questions about a variety of names or someone might be replying to an early message i sent them of say two months ago!!
