Do you ever speak Romany now Pat did you teach it your children, I am sure someone elses family off here could do as well, but they couldnt if I am correct incase they understood what the grown ups was talking about..

Just remembered a funny story - I don't live in London anymore, We live in Kent now.
A few months back a child at the school I work in asked me if I was off the telly. No I reply - Why do I look like someone? No says child - You sound like someone from Eastenders! lol.
That was from a 5 year old.

lol I know what it means Lynda Ive bin opp west...even we use rythming abit...like your gettin on me thur'pnies or 2 bobs is one of my favs...I say it all the time...

We go up the West End, but its only 15 mins by bus and its along the road, so gods knows why we say UP :))) lol lol

Yeah, I'd say im goin' up West. But I don't talk in rhyming slang - It wasnt the preferred 'dialect' in my house. We all spoke Romany when not speaking English!

Gord I hate that Mate .....got ur lighter mate yeah mate here ya go mate....GGGRRRR bird I dont mind but on the floor I work on there is at least 4 people i work with from darn sauf...they dont call you bird thou I think it may be a bit unPC for our place...

Mind you I'm not strictly from London......

I would be NOW as it's got a London postcode.....but when I grew up there it was classed as outer London ......

The reason I am asking is I work with a guy from darn sauf and he says no one says or talks like that its just E'enders carp...would you agree?
