nudged for those that missed it and want their children testedxx..

The first tests are in January of 2010 at St. George's Healthcare Trust, South London. for all those that live in this area, please look out for specific dates, I imagine if you google CRY they will put them on there when nearer the time.

This is all down to CRY not me, but my smile keeps growing bigger and bigger, now I wait to see the number of young lifes lost to this silent killer start dropping xx..

Not been on for a long time but so glad I have looked in today. Wonderful news & Gillian you deserve a big pat on the back for your tireless efforts. I hope you have a big smile on your face.

Wonderful news.

I will always be indebted to CRY, these are the people doing these tests for our children. They are a Charity that have worked endlessly for our Children's future. They rely on us the public and they have been fundraising to cover the costs of all these tests. I expect the people that support this charity have become supportive because SADS has touched their lifes. I had never heard of it before it hit my family. I call it the Silent Killer and that is just what happens, it creeps up , usually without warning and Zap, gone. I am so proud that this country has so many kind hearted people who have donated either by money, support and many sponserships.
Well done CRY and all involved in her. I truly believe that because of the tests they are offering to these youngsters, lifes will be saved.
And that is the best thing ever. xx..

I will go and read the article. We have a 14 year old in the family and live in the south east, so maybe he will be one of the first to benefit from this campaign.

It was pointed out to me by a very nice member on here that there is an article in the Daily Express I should read.

As from January 2010 starting in the South East of England ALL 14 year old children will be tested for SADS with the hope to go Nationwide with these tests.

AT LAST, thank you, all who have backed me and lobbied your M.P's etc. This is a small step in achieving my wish, that All school children are tested but a great big stride towards saving some of the 12 young people that die from this condition each and every week.

CRY will be conducting these tests so if anybody wants to learn more about this fantastic charity please google CRY (cardiac Risk in the Young) I have been fighting, with lots of help from GR member's, for almost four years for this, and boy it was worth all the tears sweat and determination.

My Stephen will not have died in Vain.
It was also mentioned in the paper that Stephen Gately was a likely candidate, bless him, may he R.I.P. and may his family find some of the strength that I found from you all on here who have fought, cried and prayed with me.
